DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring CAN Signal
  1. Faulty IBAU
  2. Power supply to each Module
  3. Open or short in EPB Module communication line
  4. Faulty IGPM (Integrated Gateway & Power control Module: Including Smart Junction Box and Central Gate Way)
  5. Faulty HCU
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch 'ON'
Threshold Value
  • The HCU message is not received during 500 milliseconds or HCU message is not received during 2 seconds within normal voltage condition
  • The fault is not checked during 2 seconds after the ignition switch turns on
  • The fault is not checked if the CAN BUS-Off fault is detected
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
