DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring EPB Module internal signals
  1. Faulty EPB Module
  2. Malfunction due to abnormal environment
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch 'ON'
Threshold Value
  • When the MCU can not erase or write a data on the EEPROM
  • If the master/slave MCU detect abnormal operation in RAM, ROM, Interrupt, timer, A/D converter and cycle time
  • When Sensor voltage is greater than 4.8±0.1V or less than 0.2±0.1V continues during 200 milliseconds
  • The control finished after 5 seconds when the current is over 2A continues during 200 milliseconds
  • CAN H/W failure
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
