Check for Open and Short in Harness
- Ignition switch 'OFF'.
- Disconnect EPB Switch and EPB Module main harness connector.
- Measure resistance between Signal (1, 2, 3, 4) terminal of EPB Switch harness connector and Signal (1, 2, 3, 4) terminal of EPB Module harness connector (M1).
- Measure resistance between Signal (1, 2, 3, 4) terminal of EPB Switch harness connector and chassis ground (M2).
Specification : (M1): Below 1Ω, (M2): Infinity.
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to next procedure.
NO
- Check for short circuit in harness or blown fuse.
- Repair as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
