Open or Short Check

  1. Turn 'OFF' the ignition switch.
  2. Disconnect EPB Control Module connector.
  3. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  4. Measure voltage between ON/START INPUT terminal of EPB Module harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification  : Approximately 13~15V

  5. Is the measured voltage within specifications?

    YES 

    • Go to next procedure.

    NO 

    • Check for short circuit in harness or blown fuse.
    • Repair open or short in power circuit between battery and EPB Module harness connector, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
