Check Open in CAN Communication Line
- Ignition switch 'OFF'.
- Disconnect EPB Module connector and Central Gate Way (CGW: IGPM-Gate Way) connector.
- Measure the resistance between CAN High terminal of EPB Module harness connector and C-CAN High terminal of Central Gate Way (CGW: IGPM-Gate Way) harness connector.
- Measure the resistance between CAN Low terminal of EPB Module harness connector and C-CAN Low terminal of Central Gate Way (CGW: IGPM-Gate Way) harness connector.
Specification : Below 1Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control module's connector or was repaired and Control module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Perform actuation by GDS and check whether it is operating correctly.
NO
- Check for open/short circuit in harness.
- Repair as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
