DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Comparison between hardwire and CAN ignition signal
  1. Short to ground in power circuit
  2. Open in power circuit
  3. Faulty Engine ECM System
  4. Open or short in EPB Module CAN communication line
Enable Conditions
  • EPB Wake up (Ignition switch 'ON')
  • Without CAN Bus Off and EMS Timeout
Threshold Value
  • When Ignition CAN message is 'ON', but hardware Ignition signal is keep staying low for more than 2 minutes even vehicle driving
Warning Lamp
  • EPB warning lamp 'ON'
