GDS data Analysis
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- ENG "ON".
- Change the position of shift lever.
- Monitor the "Shift Lever Position" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.
- Whenever you change the shift lever position, is the parameter changed?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NO
- Go to next step.
