DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Variant monitoring
  1. Replacement of PCM (ECM & TCM)
  2. Faulty IBAU
Enable Conditions
  • In case that a variant set is not finished
  • In case that 4WD message is received in 2WD Vehicle.
  • In case that Ax message is received in no Ax variant Vehicle
  • In case that EPB message is received in no EPB Vehicle
MIL
  • The EBD/RBS/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamp is activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • The warning lamps and DTC are cleared if Variant coding is set.
NOTE: IBAU: Integrated Brake Accumulation Unit
LDC: Low voltage DC/DC Converter
RBS: Regenerative Brake Cooperation System
ABS: Anti-lock Brake System
EBD: Electronic Brake-force Distribution System
VDC: Vehicle Dynamic Control
AVH: Auto Vehicle Hold
