Component Inspection
- IG "OFF".
- IG "ON".
- Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
- Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode again.
- Are any DTCs present?
YES
- The main cause of this code is that improper CAN signal from EPS system is detected.
- Check DTCs in MDPS system. If there is a code in MDPS system, Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of MDPS system.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in CAN signal harness and/or IBAU's connector. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
