DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message from MDPS monitoring
  1. Defected MDPS (VSM)
  2. Defected IBAU
Enable Conditions
  • In case that VSM control message was not received for more than specific time
  1. any control activated: 500 msec
  2. all control inactivated: 1500 msec
MIL
  • No MIL
  • Turn ignition switch off and on.
Reset condition
  • Fault Check Inhibit Criteria
  1. Vehicle speed is lower than 10 Kph.
  2. Before the Plug & Play confirmation phase has been completed.
