DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  1. Defected EPB ECU
  2. Defected IBAU
Enable Conditions
  • A failure is detected if the diagnostic information signal (EPB_FAIL) of EPB1 message is received as "Permanently not available" more than specific times sequentially
  1. any control activated: 25 times
  2. all control inactivated: 75 times
MIL
  • No MIL The AVH warring lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH
Reset Condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and on
