Component Inspection

  1. Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
  2. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  3. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
  4. Using a GDS, Clear the DTC.
  5. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode again.
  6. Are any DTCs present?

    YES 

    • The main cause of this code is that improper CAN signal from EPB system is detected.
    • Check DTCs in EPB system. If there is a code in EPB system, Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of EPB system.

    NO
