DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  1. Check PCM (ECM) system
Enable Conditions
  • Monitoring the error of Engine RPM in EMS message during driving without CAN hardware error and CAN bus off.
  • Specific times: control in progress - 50 times, no control: 150 times
MIL
  • The RBC/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamp is activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and on.
