GDS Data Analysis
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Start the engine.
- Drive the vehicle with left, right turn.
- Monitor the "Lateral G Sensor, Yaw Rate Sensor, Longitudinal G Sensor" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.
Specification: The parameters should be changed while turning.
- Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in YAW Sensor harness and/or IBAU's connector. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NO
- Go to next step.
