Open or Short Check

  1. IG "ON".
  2. Measure voltage between power terminal of the MDPS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 12V

  3. Is the measured value within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    Repair open in power circuit between IBAU and the MDPS harness connector and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
