CAN resistance check

  1. IG "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the instrument cluster and CGW connector.
  3. Measure resistance between CAN LOW terminal and CAN HIGH terminal of the instrument cluster. (Component side).
  4. Measure resistance between CAN LOW terminal and CAN HIGH terminal of the PCM (ECM). (Component side).

    Specification:  Approx. 110~130 Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known-good module which abnormal resistance measured and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace module and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
