DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  1. Faulty ECM
  2. Open in CAN communication line
  3. Poor connection
  4. Other ECUs incorrectly occupy the CAN bus
Enable Conditions
  • In case that TCU message was not received for more than specific time.

Specific time:
  1. any control activated: 500 msec
  2. all control inactivated: 1500 msec
MIL
  • The RBS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamp is activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and on.
NOTE: IBAU: Integrated Brake Accumulation Unit
LDC: Low voltage DC/DC Converter
RBS: Regenerative Brake Cooperation System
ABS: Anti-lock Brake System
EBD: Electronic Brake-force Distribution System
VDC: Vehicle Dynamic Control
AVH: Auto Vehicle Hold
