GDS data Analysis

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. ENG "ON".
  3. Monitor the "Engine Speed", "Throttle Position" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.

  4. Whenever you press the accelerator pedal, are the parameters changed?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    NO 

    • Go to next step.
