DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN circuit monitoring
  1. Short circuit in CAN line
  2. Faulty IBAU
Enable Conditions
  • Once P-CAN bus off state occurs, CAN communication is initialized and has recovery time for 70 msec.
  • A failure is detected if the CAN bus off state occurs more than 10 times continuously.
MIL
  • The RBS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamp is activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and on.
Remarks
  • The cluster controls warning lamps while bus-off state is sustained.
