DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Internal monitoring
  1. Faulty IBAU
Enable Conditions
  • When the MCU can't erase or write a data of the EEPROM.
  • A failure is detected if an abnormal operation of RAM, ROM, interrupt, timer, A/D converter, cycle time is detected in master processor or in slave processor.
  • A failure is detected if the communication error between internal components is detected.
  • A failure is detected if the internal components initialization is not completed.
  • A failure is detected if an abnormal operation of internal power supply is detected.
MIL
  • The EBD/RBS//ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps and buzzer are activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
MIL Off
  • Turn ignition switch off and on.

LDC: Low voltage DC/DC Converter
RBS: Regenerative Brake Cooperation System
ABS: Anti-lock Brake System
EBD: Electronic Brake-force Distribution System
VDC: Vehicle Dynamic Control
