Stop lamp Switch Signal Circuit Inspection (IBAU Side)

IG "ON" & ENG "OFF"
Measure voltage between Pin No. 44 (signal) terminal of IBAU harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 12V
Measure the voltage between Pin No. 44 (signal) terminal of IBAU harness connector while switch is being pressed.
Specification: Approx. 0V
Measure voltage between Pin No. 36 (signal) terminal of IBAU harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 0V
Measure the voltage between Pin No. 36 (signal) terminal of IBAU harness connector while switch is being pressed.
Specification: Approx. 12V
Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Fault might be intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECU's connector or was repaired and ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

- Replace Stop signal electronic module and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
