Open Check

  1. IG "ON".
  2. Disconnect the Brake Pedal Travel sensor, AHB connectors.
  3. Measure voltage between PDT signal terminal of the Brake Pedal Travel sensor harness connector and AHB ECU harness connector.

    Specification:  Approx. 0 Ω

  4. Is the measured value within specifications?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known-good Brake Pedal Travel sensor and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace Brake Pedal Travel sensor and then go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.

    NO 

    • Repair open in PDT signal circuit between the Brake Pedal Travel sensor harness connector and AHB harness connector and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR "
