Short Check

Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
Disconnect AVH switch.
Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
Measure voltage between AVH switch signal terminal of the IBAU harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: 0V
Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair short to battery in signal circuit between the AVH switch harness connector and IBAU and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
