DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Brake oil pressure monitoring
  1. Faulty PS pressure sensor
Enable Conditions
  • A failure is detected if PS pressure is in discordance with brake pedal travel and control target pressure while hydraulic boosting is activated.
  • A failure is detected if PSP pressure is more than 15bar higher than BCP1 and BCP2 while hydraulic boosting is inactivated.
  • PSP is changed over 15bar more than 150 times for 2s.

* PS: Pedal Stroke
* BC: Booster Chamber
MIL
  • The EBD/RBS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps are activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • After ignition switch turned off and on again and Brake Pressed and Released.
