DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage monitoring
  1. PS pressure sensor circuit open or short
Enable Conditions
  • A failure is detected if VPOS or VNEG is above 4.8±0.1V or below 0.2±0.1V longer than 1second.
  • A failure is detected if the average of VPOS and VNEG is out of 2.5±0.1V longer than 1second.

* VPOS: Pressure sensor positive signal
* VNEG: Pressure sensor negative signal
MIL
  • The EBD/RBS//ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps are activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and on.

EBD: Electronic Brake-force Distribution System
