DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Brake oil pressure monitoring
  1. Brake oil leaks
  2. Faulty brake pressure sensor
Enable Conditions
  • A failure is detected if BCP1 or BCP2 pressure is in discordance with other pressure sensors and control target pressure during the AHB control.
  • A failure is detected if BCP1 or BCP2 pressure is in discordance with other pressure sensors during the Non AHB control.
  • BCP is changed over 15bar more than 100 times for 2 seconds.

* BC: Booster Chamber
MIL
  • The EBD/RBS/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps and buzzer are activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • After ignition switch turned off and on again and Brake Pressed and Released.
NOTE: IBAU: Integrated Brake Accumulation Unit

ABS: Anti-lock Brake System
EBD: Electronic Brake-force Distribution System
