DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Brake oil pressure sensor circuit open or short
Enable Conditions
  • A failure is detected if VPOS or VNEG is above 4.8±0.1V or below 0.2±0.1V longer than 1sec.
  • Failure is detected if the Brake oil is low and the circuit pressure doesn't reach the target pressure.

* VPOS: Pressure sensor positive signal
* VNEG: Pressure sensor negative signal
MIL
  • The EBD/RBS/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps are activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • After ignition switch turned off and on again and Brake Pressed and Released.
Remarks
  • When both BC1 and BC2 Pressure sensor are failed, Buzzer is On.

* BC: Booster Chamber
