Component Inspection

Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
Connect GDS to DLC (Data Link Cable).
Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
Clear the DTC using GDS.
Step on and off the brake pedal several times.
Check the DTC. Did the DTC return? Is the same DTC shown?
YES
- Check for improper installation of SRSCM. If NG, repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Substitute with a known-good SRSCM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace SRSCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
* In a case of replacing the SRSCM, follow the replacement procedure of the DTC B1620 (Internal fault-Replace SRSCM) of the SRSCM and then perform "longitudinal G sensor Calibration" in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu of the GDS. (refer to C128504 )

NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in IMU (SRSCM) harness or faulty IMU (SRSCM). Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
