Component Inspection

IG "OFF".
IG "ON".
After connecting GDS, check DTC on the GDS.
Using GDS, Erase the DTCs.
Using a GDS, Check DTC present.
Is the same DTC shown?
YES
- Check for improper installation of SRSCM. If NG, repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Substitute with a known-good SRSCM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace SRSCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
* In a case of replacing the SRSCM, follow the replacement procedure of the DTC B1620 (Internal fault-Replace SRSCM) of the SRSCM and then perform "longitudinal G sensor Calibration" in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu of the GDS. (refer to C1285 )

NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in IMU (SRSCM) harness or faulty IMU (SRSCM). Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
