Steering Angle Sensor Calibration
- Line up wheels like Fig.1)
- Perform the wheel alignment.
- Set the steering wheel so that the wheels point straight ahead.
- Go ahead and Go back the vehicle 2~3 times without holding steering wheel.
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Perform steering angle sensor calibration in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu on GDS again. (Fig.2)
- Disconnect GDS.
- Check the condition of SAS zero point adjustment by driving the vehicle to right-turn and left-turn at least one time.

- Is "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" completed normally?
YES
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Calibration can be interrupted by related DTC occurred. If DTC presents, erase DTC and then perform "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" again.
- Substitute with a known-good Steering Angle Sensor and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace Steering Angle Sensor and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
* In a case of replacing the Steering Angle Sensor, perform "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu of the GDS.
