DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition
| Item |
Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
- Pressure sensor offset Monitoring
|
- Incorrect installation
- Incorrect calibration of steering angle sensor
- Faulty steering angle sensor
|
| Enable Conditions |
- If following interference and signal disturbance is detected.
- During straight driving, If the steering wheel angle is larger than 55 degree ECU detects the failure.
- When the steering wheel angle is out of sensor spec, ECU detects the failure.
- When the difference between estimated angle and measured angle of the SAS sensor is larger than 50deg/s, failure is detected, if the fault condition is maintained for t>=1.5sec.
- In case that diagnostic signal fault of SAS was happened for more than 100ms within normal voltage condition.
- When the steering wheel angle is under 3deg during left/right curve, ECU detects the failure.

| MIL |
- The ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamp is activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
|
| Reset condition |
- 1), 3), 5).: SAS signal is normal on a driving above 20 km/h (12.4 mi/h) after ignition switch turned On again and SAS signal on right/left turn is larger than 25deg. 2), 4).: Turn ignition switch off and on.
