DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Current Monitoring
  1. Open or short of Wheel speed sensor circuit (RL)
  2. Faulty Wheel speed sensor (RL)
Enable Conditions
  • When the sensor current levels are out of permissible range (4 mA ±10% ~ 60 mA ±10%) longer than 140 msec.
  • A failure is detected, if the leakage current of wheel speed sensor is above specific current longer than 140 msec.
MIL
  • The EBD/RBS/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps are activated. The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and on.
Remarks
  • In case of more than 2 wheel failures, EBD Lamp is On. (EBD control is not available)
  • In case of more than 4 wheel failures, AHB Warning Lamp is On
