Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Using a remover and remove the cluster fascia upper garnish (A).
- Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
- Loosen the mounting screw and remove the crash pad side garnish [LH] (A).
- Press the lock pin and separate the crash pad side garnish connector (A).
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the cluster fascia panel (A).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
