Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- Remove the tailgate side trim.
(Refer to Tailgate - "TAILGATE TRIM ")
- Remove the rear spoiler plug hole (A).
- Disconnect the rear spoiler connector (A).
- Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the rear spoiler (A).
Tightening torque:
5.9 - 6.4 N.m (0.6 - 0.65 kgf.m, 4.3 - 4.7 lb-ft)
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Replace any damaged clips.
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
