Check short to power in LIN communication circuit 2

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect AFLS ECU connector and headlamp (LH and RH) connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between (AFLS ECU or headlamp) connector LIN communication terminal of wiring side and battery power.

    Specification:  Infinity Ω

  4. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    • Go to next procedure.

    NO 

    • Check for short to power between AFLS ECU LIN communication circuit and headlamp (LH and RH) LIN communication circuit.
    • Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
