Check short to power in LIN communication circuit 1

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect AFLS ECU connector and headlamp (LH and RH) connector.
  3. Ignition "ON".
  4. Measure the voltage between (AFLS ECU or headlamp) connector LIN communication terminal of wiring side and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 0V

  5. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    • Go to next procedure.

    NO 

    • Check for short to power in LIN communication circuit between AFLS ECU to headlamp (LH and RH) connector.
    • Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
