AFLS Ecu ↔ TCU

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect IGPM connector and AFLS ECU connector
  3. Measure the resistance between CAN-HIGH, LOW terminal of IGPM harness connector and CAN-HIGH, LOW terminal of AFLS ECU harness connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between CAN-HIGW, LOW terminal of IGPM harness connector and CAN-HIGW, LOW terminal of TCU harness connector.

    Specification:  Below 1Ω

  5. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known - good ECU (TCU or IGPM) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECU and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
