Check Open in CAN Communication Line

  1. Ignition switch 'OFF'.
  2. Disconnect AEB(SCC) Module connector and IGPM(CGW) connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between C-CAN High terminal of AEB(SCC) Module harness connector and C-CAN High terminal of IGPM(CGW) harness connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between C-CAN Low terminal of AEB(SCC) Module harness connector and C-CAN Low terminal of IGPM(CGW) harness connector.

    Specification  : Below 1 Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Check IGPM(CGW) Module connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
    • Substitute with a known-good IGPM(CGW) Module and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace Module and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
