Check Open in CAN communication Line

  1. Ignition OFF.
  2. Disconnect AEB(SCC) Module connector and ESP(ESC) connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between C-CAN High terminal of AEB(SCC) Module harness connector and C-CAN High terminal of ESP(ESC) harness connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between C-CAN Low terminal of AEB(SCC) Module harness connector and C-CAN Low terminal of ESP(ESC) harness connector.

    Specification  : Below 1Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Check ESP(ESC), SCC Module connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • Substitute with a known-good SCC Module and check for proper operation.

      If the problem is corrected, replace SCC Module and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    • After replacing with a known-good SCC Module, perform the "Variant Coding" and "SCC Alignment" at the "Vehicle S/W Management" mode by using GDS.
