Monitor GDS Data
- Ignition switch 'ON' & Vehicle 'Stop'.
- Connect GDS and select "Data Analysis" mode.
- Select "Current Data" mode and monitor "Align Status" parameter.
Specification of Alight Status:
- Not Executive: Sensor alignment not completed - Perform the sensor alignment.
- Success: Sensor alignment completed success.
- Time out: Sensor alignment failed. Time exceeded - Perform the sensor alignment again.
- Unknown: Sensor alignment failed. The cause unknown - Check the sensor surface status/sensor temperature/voltage status/abnormality in CAN communication.
- Target Not Found: Sensor alignment failed. Target unrecognized - Check the Target position.
- Horizontal Multiple Target Found: Sensor alignment failed. Multiple targets recognized (horizontal) - Check for the existence of other target in the horizontal direction.
- Incorrect Target Range: Sensor alignment failed. Distance error between the sensor and target - Check the distance between the sensor and target.
- Target Angle Deviation: Sensor alignment failed. Target shake - Check the installation status of target.
- Horizontal Bad Angle: Sensor alignment failed. Calibration range exceeded (horizontal) - Check the installation status of SCC Radar.
- Vertical Bad Angle: Sensor alignment failed. Calibration range exceeded (vertical) - Check the installation status of SCC Radar.
- Market Code Not Correct: Sensor alignment failed. Variant coding input error - Check the local specifications for the relevant vehicle type.
- Hardware Failure: Sensor alignment failed. Sensor failure - Need to replace the SCC Radar.
- Vertical Multiple Target Found: Sensor alignment failed. Multiple targets recognized (vertical) - Check for the existence of the target in the vertical direction.
- Check and repair according to the type of sensor value, perform the
"Radar Sensor Alignment" and check if the error code occurs again.
- Is the DTC present?
YES
- Repair according to the detailed description of failed alignment.
- Repair or replace as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
