Monitor GDS Data
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
- IG key "ON", Engine "ON".
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
- Are any DTCs present?
Using a GDS, Check if the same DTC re-sets after clearing DTC.
YES
- Go to "BSD calibration" procedure.
NO
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- How to calibrate BSD radar
- Carry out the BSD radar calibration from GDS "Vehicle S/W Management".
- After carrying out the calibration, carry out the driving test for 30 minutes.
- If the same DTC occurs after test driving, check the installation status of BSD radar.
- Check the status of bumper (surface status and occurrence of accident)
- Remove the bumper and check the installation status of bracket
>. Check the installation of bracket: Check for the insertion of foreign substance
>. Check the installation status of radar: Check the screws for loosening (3 places) and check for the insertion of foreign substance into the screws (gap)
- If there is an abnormal part, correct it, and if not, install the bumper again and perform again from 5) "How to calibrate BSD radar".
