Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
  2. IG key "ON", Engine "ON".
  3. Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
  4. Are any DTCs present?

    Using a GDS, Check if the same DTC re-sets after clearing DTC.

  5. Is the same DTC detected again?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known-good "BSD ECU(LH)" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "BSD ECU(LH)" and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    NO
