DTC Description

The reverse gear status is received from TCU during CAN communication between BSD(=Blind Spot Detection) and TCU module, and BSD system is used. If the relevant message is not received from TCU, it creates C161287 DTC, turns off BSD switch LED, and stops the system.

* (MT vehicle- CGW)/(AT vehicle- TCU) contains reverse gear information, so it detects a vehicle approaching from the left and right side in the rear or side at the time of driving the vehicle in reverse and gives an alarm to the driver. (RCTA: Rear Cross Traffic Alert Function)
