Trouble shooting Condition Possible cause
Main action
  • Monitoring voltage and current of motor circuit
  1. Poor performance of EPB motor.
  2. High resistance is occurred in EPB system
  3. EPB supply voltage shortage
Threshold value
  • When a clamping load exceeding a certain level occur but the target current can not be reached within 3 seconds after the load is generated. (Motor current is greater than 6A.)
Diagnosis time
  • 3 seconds,
MIL
  • EPB/AVH warning lamps are activated
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch OFF and ON.
