| Main action |
- Monitor the voltage and current
|
- Damaged or poor connector connection
- Faulty ESP (ESC)
|
| Threshold value |
Case 1 |
- When Internal temperature of valve relay driver is greater than 195 ± 20°C (347~ 419°F) for more than 500 milliseconds
- When the valve relay is On and the solenoid valve is Off, if the following conditions maintained for more than 60 milliseconds
- Solenoid valve voltage is less than (2.0±0.2) V
If the above condition occurs simultaneously in more than 5 valves, it is treated as valve relay failure (C211201).
- When the valve relay is On and the solenoid valve is On, if the following conditions maintained for more than 60 milliseconds
- Solenoid valve current is greater than (8.5±2.5) A - Internal temperature of valve relay driver is greater than 195 ± 20°C (347~ 419°F)
|
| Case 2 |
- The ABS/ESC valve is driven sequentially to check for electrical malfunction, valve coil failure and short-circuit between valve lines. If it is judged that it is faulty, it shall be treated as a fault if it is operated at the maximum of 5 times and the fault is inputted more than 3 times
* Fault condition
- When solenoid valve is not actuating: Solenoid voltage (VSOL) is less than (2.0±0.2) V
- When solenoid valve is actuating: Solenoid current (ISOL) is greater than (8.5±2.5) A.
|
| MIL |
- ESP (ESC)/EBD/ABS warning lamps are activated
|
| Reset condition |
- Turn ignition switch OFF and ON.
