  1. Faulty ESP (ESC) (EEPROM error)
  2. After the state of the actuator is recorded as "unknown" with any EPB failure, if EPB ECM is turned off and on without EPB operation.
Threshold value
  • When the state of the EPB actuator recorded in the EEPROM is "unknown".
Diagnosis time
  • 10 milliseconds

  • EPB warning lamp is activated
Reset condition
  • When EPB actuator has succeed in the "apply" or "release" operation.
