Trouble shooting Condition Possible cause
Main action
  • Monitor the CAN message
  1. Open or short in CAN lines
  2. Poor connector connection
  3. Other ECUs incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus line
  4. Faulty SCC
  5. Incorrect Controller's version
Threshold value
  • When "Failure in SCC message is detected by engine control" is received for more than 2 seconds from EMS
  • When "Function failure of engine power control" is received for more than 2 seconds from EMS
  • When "SCC Shut off condition is detected" is received for more than 2 seconds from EMS
  • When "Failure brake light switch is detected by engine control" is received for more than 2 seconds from EMS
Diagnosis time
  • 200 milliseconds/500 milliseconds/1500 milliseconds
MIL
  • No MIL On
Reset condition
  • When the normal signal is sent after ignition switch turned OFF and back ON.
