DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible cause
Main action
  • Monitor the CAN message
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open in CAN communication line
  3. Faulty TCM_DCT
  4. Faulty ESP (ESC)
Threshold value
  • In case that TCM_DCT message was not received for more than specific time.

    * specific time: 500 milliseconds (while controlling)

    1500 milliseconds (while not controlling).
Diagnosis time
  • While controlling: 500 milliseconds
  • While not controlling: 1500 milliseconds
MIL
  • ESC (ESP) warning lamp is activated
Reset condition
  • When CAN signal is normally recovered after ignition switch turned OFF and back ON
