DTC Description

The ESP (ESC) uses the brake circuit signal when judging driver's intention to stop. The ESP (ESC) checks for open or short to the brake switch circuit.

If an error is present in the brake circuit, which consists of fuse, brake (stop) lamp switch, stop signal electronic module and ESP (ESC), the warning lamp will be activated and this DTC will appear.
