|
- Steering Angle Sensor is not calibrated
- Faulty SAS
- Faulty ESP
|
| Threshold value |
Case 1 |
- In case of straight and stable driving over 30 km/h (18.6 MPH), a failure is detected if it is more than 25° to difference between previous SAS offset and mean of estimated SAS offset.
|
| Case 2 |
- In case of over 60 km/h (37.3 MPH) driving, monitoring a fault if conditions between estimated SAS values and measured SAS sensor value are not proper to driving status.
- In case of there is no change in the SAS value when the vehicle is turning left or right (Yaw rate ± 5 deg./s or more).
|
| MIL |
- ESP (ESC) warning lamp is activated
|
| Reset condition |
Case 1 |
- After ignition switch turned OFF and ON.
|
| Case 2 |
- When the followings are normal, on a driving above 12 km/h (7.45 MPH).
- In case of straight driving, SAS signal is within 25 degree.
- SAS signal on right/left turn is larger than 30 degree.
- When the vehicle is running to left or right more than 12 degrees of SAS, the measured SAS sensor value is between the lower limit 50% and the upper limit 150% of the estimated SAS value over a certain period of time.
